    "I bequeth my soull unto Allmeghtie God" and burial in churchyard of Holwell. To his wife Jone Marshall 21 quarters of barley, 2 quarters of wheat and 3 of his best kine, 10 of the best sheep, 2 hogs "and halfe my newe cloth wollen and lynnon redy and unredy and halfe the woll that is vnpoynted Furth to be spone in howse" also half the ducks and hens in the yard, and "stover" for her cattle for one year next after testator's death, and all the household stuff testator had with her, and also a chamber within "this my howse" for one year, and also 10 cheeses. To William Wylee 5 quarters of barley and 6 sheep. To son William Marshall one shod cart and harness for 3 cart horses and harness for 4 plough horses. To each of testator's daughters 5 sheep and a half acre of barley of the next crop. To daughter Cristian Marshall one brown bullock. One red bullock and one pied bullock to be divided equally between 4 [sic] of his daughters, that is to say Anne Symond, Elezebeth Marshall and Alys Yssedd. To daughter Jone Marshall 4 sheep. To daughters Jone Marshall and Cristian Marshall one brass pan which testator bought at Shitlington. To sons Robert and John Marshall 7 ½ acres of free land. To wife Jone Marshall 2 acres of wheat or barley of the next crop, and his sons Robert and John are to pay wife 13s. 4d. sterling each year for 3 years out of the said free land. Residue to sons Robert and John Marshall, and son Robert Marshall and Water Goodchild are to be his executors. Witnesses Richard Parr, William Marshall, John Low.
