    "Furste I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God my maker and Redemer and to all the holy compeny of heven" and burial in the churchyard of Luton. To the high altar of Luton for tithes forgotten 4d.; to the poor men's box 8d.. Wife Joan is to have testator's house where he now lives with all lands, leasures, meadows and pastures for the term of her life while she remains unmarried, and if she remarries then testator's son Roger Ylyat to enter into the house and land. Otherwise son to take over the property on wife's death, and it is to go to son's issue, and in default of issue on Roger's death property to go to testator's son Robert and his issue, in default property to descend to testator's daughters Elezabeth and Agnes, and to their issue. To son Robert Ylyat £20 at age of 24, of which £10 is to be raised from testator's moveable possessions and the other £10 to be paid by son Roger out of the house when he enters upon it. Should Robert die under age of 24, then the money is to be divided between all the children then alive. To daughter Elezabeth 40s. of which half to be paid out of testator's crop and half to be paid by son Roger when he enters into the house and land. To daughter Agnes £10 at the age of 20 or on her marriage day, if that is earlier. Of this sum £6 13s. 4d.to come from testator's crop, and the rest to be paid out of the house and land by Roger. To Edward Wryght a ewe sheep. To John Perat (testator's wife's godson) a ewe sheep. To every godchild 4d.. To son Roger the best and principal of all his cattle, the best brass pot and best brass pan. Wife Jone not to meddle with any part of his house or lands, nor the shares of testator's children Executor Edward Crawley (who is to have 3s. 4d.), and wife executrix, and Umfra Daldron the elder to be supervisor, and he to have 20d..
