    "I bequeth my Sowle to Allmeghtie And to his great marcy" [sic] and burial in the churchyard of Sutton. To Elynor Terre £3 6s. 8d.; to William Terre £3 6s. 8d.; to Richard Terre £3 6s. 8d.; to Fyllys Terre £3 6s, 8d., and each to be heir to the others. They are to have the money at 20 years of age, or if they marry before the age of 20, then to receive their legacy on the day of their marriage. To servant Thomas Smyth a ewe and a lamb. To Richard Yong a ewe and a lamb. To servant Elezabeth a ewe and a lamb. To the same Richard Yong a cow bullock. To Jone Yong a ewe and a lamb. To Alys Yong a ewe and a lamb. He forgives "Ethoppe" 12d.of the 16d. he owes testator. To Elezabeth Yong of Stow 2 bushel of malt. His executors are to lay 10 loads of gravel on the great bridge in Sutton. To the poor folks of Sutton 15s. this year and 15s. next year. 3s. 4d. is to be bestowed in bread and given to children on the day of testator's burial. To John Browneing 3s. 4d.. Residue to son Henry Terre, sole executor, with overseers Thomas Gilman, Davy Gylman and Thomas Selve, each of whom to have 6s. 8d.. Witnesses William Mays, John Valdo and John Browneng
