Scope and Content
"I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God" and burial in the churchyard of Kempston
To son Edward 2 oxen, 10 sheep, five quarters of barley, a calf of this year, a coffer, and half testator's wearing raiment. To son William 2 oxen, 10 sheep, 5 quarters of barley, a calf of this year, a coffer, and the other half of the raiment. To sons Edward and William a cow between them. To his daughter Agnes 3 beasts, 10 sheep, 5 quarters of barley, with all the household stuff which testator's wife brought to him by the gift of her father, and also all his late wife's wearing raiment.
To testator's sisters Margreat and Margery a year old bullock each.
Residue to be divided between his three children, and if any of them should die before they have had issue, then each to be heir of the others.
Executors his father William Denett and Richard Carmyden, with William Browne overseer.
