Scope and Content
"Furst I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God to our lady sanct Mary and to all the holy compeny of heven" and burial in Barton churchyard.
To the son of testator's daughter Benet of Barford the great brass pot, and should he die without issue, the pot to go to Thomas the son of William Hill.
To his maid Jone Kyrkebe a brass pot.
Residue to wife Jone, his executrix to dispose of it "to the plesur of God and the helth of my soull".
