To Agnes Pestell 3s. 4d.. To Robert S....per a black lamb. To his uncle John Halsey 9s.. To John Williams mayor of Bedford 6s. 8d.. Residue to his mother Elzabeth Halsey, and to his brothers Thomas and Richard Halsey, and to his sisters Anne, Alys and Julyan to be divided equally between them. His mother and his uncle John Halsey to be his executors, and John Williams mayor of Bedford his overseer. Witnesses John Williams, sir Richard Howden vicar of Bedenham, John Yett.
