    "I bequeth my soull to Allmeghti God and to his gret marcy" and burial in churchyard of Sutton. To the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To his brother Christopher Cleyton a cow and a calf (to be chosen by testator's widow) also his best leather doublet and his blue coat, his "pesed" bow, his arrows and quivers and a ewe ("yow"). To his brother Thomas Cleyton his frieze coat, the black fustian doublet, and to Thomas' son John one ewe sheep. To his brother John Cleyton a tawney coat, his "caves" doublet and his whole bow, and to his son John one ewe sheep. To godson Richard Mays a red hued steer bullock. To Agnes Eling a red heifer. To Agnes Allen half a quarter of barley. To Thomas Eling and his wife a quarter of barley to be delivered after next Michaelmas. To Richard Tarre a wether sheep. "Alys Fermer shalbe at the discrestion of my wyff". To every cottager in Sutton 4d.. To John Browneing 3s. 4d..
