    "I bequeth my soull to Allmegtie God" and his burial in the churchyard of the same parish by his wife. To the poor men's box 3s. 4d.; for tithes forgotten 12s.; to the high altar 12d.; £3 to be distributed "for the welth of my soull" to poor people of Dunstable where most need is, as decided by the honest men of the parish; to the highways 26s. 8d. To godson William Albreght £4. To "son-in-law" sir Richard Bowstred priest £7 and a mazer, 2 silver spoons and a featherbed with all things that belong to it. To sir Umfray Plinpton curate of the same town of Dunstable 6s. 8d.. To every godchild 4d.. Residue to William Albryght and sir William Bowstred priest testator's son-in-law, who are executors. The overseer to be Thomas Fynche the younger, he to have 13s. 4d.. Witnesses John Halse, William Throppe, Thomas Fynche junior, Umfrey Plumpton curate of Dunstable.
