    Soul to Almighty God and to all the holy company of heaven. Burial in the parish church aforesaid, by wife Eme. To the Poreman's box 3s. 4d.. To the highway where most need is, by the oversight of Thomas Fynche and his son, the sum of 40s.. To John Afryth his sad tawny gown. To Thomas Totnam his blue gown. To Fremond in the Northend a russet coat. To Andro the herdsman his buckskin doublet. To Draper a jacket. To every child of William Smyth otherwise called Fowler of the parish of Shitlington 12d.. To every godchild 12d.. To testator's daughter "of London" his wife's best gown and her best frock, and to each of her children 40s.. 13s. 4d.is to be bestowed at his burial, and the same at his month's tide, and 10s. to be spent at his wife's month's tide. His son in law Franses is not to make any trouble with William Fowller of Shitlington for the house at Lygrave. To Thomas Fynche the younger 20s. and he to be Overseer.
