Scope and Content
Testament Soul to almighty God, St. Mary, and the holy company in heaven, and burial in churchyard of Allhallowes in Segnoo in the said parish.
To mother church of Lincoln 2d..
To son William Barnewell the malt quern, a coffer, and 13s. 4d. which he is to receive from his brother John Barnewell who is to pay him every year 3s. 4d. until all is paid. To his daughter Jone Doo a black coffer. Residue to wife Esabell Bernewell, executrix, to dispose for the health of souls of testator and all Christians. Overseer to be son John Bernewell.
Will Touching all his lands and tenements in Regemont. Wife Ezabell to enjoy his house and landes where testator lives which she is to hold for her lifetime of the chief lord of the fee, and after the death of Esabell then the house and other premises to go to son John Bernewell and to son's wife Jone, and to their heirs, and for lack of issue, then property to go to the right heir male of testator.
