    "I bequeth my soull unto Allmeghtie God to our lady Sanct Mary and to all the holy compeny of Hevan" and burial in the churchyard of Keyshoo. To the high altar 20d.; to Lincoln 4d.; to the poor man's box 12d.. Son John to have the close called Hey Close, also 2 steers, 2 of the best heifers, 10 sheep, 10 quarters of barley, 4 quarters of wheat, 5 quarters of pease, 10 acres of tilth land, 4 acres of land in every season during the time of testator's lease. To his children Thomas, Richard, Agnes and Elzabeth 2 heifers each. To sons Thomas and Richard 2 steers each. To his mother 2 "hues" [presumably ewes] and to each of his brothers a quarter of barley. To William Thody an acre of barley. To every godchild 4d.. To his mother 4 yards of cloth. To his daughter Alys on the day of her marriage £6 14s. 4d.. To wife Elzabeth the remainder of the lease of his farm, and the residue of his goods. His executors to be sir Thomas Nyxe vicar of Keyshoo (to whom 10s.) and wife Elzabeth.
