    "I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God to our blessed lady and to all the blessed compeny of heven". Burial in the churchyard of Aspley Gwyse. To the high altar 4d.; to the bells and torches 2d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To every one of his children two bushels of barley. He asks for 2 trantals of masses to be said and sung in the parish church of Aspley for testator and Alys his wife 20s.. Wife Parnell to have his house with the appurtenances and 3 acres of land in the town and fields of Edlysborow in the county of Bucks. for the term of her life, keeping the repairs done, and on her death this is to revert to testator's son Thomas Cocke and his heirs. To daughter in law Emot 2 pewter dishes. Residue to wife Parnell who is executrix, she to dispose them for the health of the souls of testator and all Christians. Son Thomas to be overseer, he to have a cow bullock. Witnesses William Strayton, Thomas Mathewe, Thomas Kente the younger.
