    Burial in the churchyard of Eyworth. His wife and his son to be his executors. To his son a featherbed, a bolster, 2 sheets and 2 coverings, and all that belongs to them. Also a brass pot, a great brass kettle, three pewter dishes. Wife to have the use of testator's house in "jichyn" [pres. Hitchin] for 16 years, for keeping her and testator's child, and at the end of 16 years she is to pay their son 40s. and deliver the house to the child. If the child is no longer alive, then she can have the house and 2 "gharttings" in the Est for herself and her heirs. Witnesses John Palmer, Thomas Gossett. William Underwod to be Supervisor. He bequeaths to Thomas Gosset 8 "shaveys".
