Copy letter from S. Busby of 33 Marlboro Road to Mr. Tanqueray concerning the sale of 2 Augustus Road, Coventry to George Edgar Gee… 'I am sorry to have to trouble you but I am not at all satisfied with the transaction of sale of the House No 2 Augustus Road Mr Gee purchased from me. You did not so much as write and inform me the amount you had got to pay the Provident- why you had to pay £306/17/4 for I do not know - then again you charge me £4/3/- for conveyance which Mr. Gee should pay. I did not promise at the time of sale to pay same. I must therefore ask you to be kind enough to return my Provident receipt book for as far as I can see the whole matter will have to be thrashed out in court and considering the blunder that was made first one amount then another will look well in print'.
