    Copy Marriage Settlement Parties: (i) Simon Taylor the elder of Woburn, gentleman and Joane, his wife; Simon Taylor the younger (son of Simon Taylor the elder) of Woburn; (ii) Thomas Head of St.Martin's-in-the-Fields [Middlesex], druggist; Ambrose Reddall of Eversholt, gentleman; Diana Gregory (youngest daughter of Thomas Gregory, late of Whittnoe Grange, Woburn, gentleman, deceased) Operative Part: - intended marriage between Simon Taylor the younger and Diana Gregory; - (ii) paid 5/- to (i); - £700 portion of Diana Gregory with £300 more to be advanced by Simon Taylor, to be used in purchasing lands settled upon the couple; - (i) granted (a)-(e) to Thomas Head and Ambrose Reddall Property: (a) messuage in Woburn, formerly in occupation of Katherine Fountaine, now John Mosely and known by sign of Red Lion fronting W on George Street also known as London Road; (b) close of pasture or meadow of half an acre adjoining (a) and between (a) and land of Duke of Bedford N and Thomas Stannyford S; (c) void piece of ground called a gutter in Woburn between (a) and messuage of William Ashby and Ann, his wife; (a)-(c) formerly in occupation of Lionel Taylor, gentleman, grandfather of Simon Taylor the elder and Katherine Fountaine, now John Mosely; (d) messuage in North End, Woburn called Bell in occupation of Job Townesend; (e) close of pasture adjoining (d) of two acres divided into two parts in occupation of Job Townsend and William Shippey Habendum: - to Thomas Head and Ambrose Reddall upon trust: to use of Simon Taylor the elder before the marriage; then to use of Simon Taylor the younger and Diana, his wife; then, after the death of both to the heirs begotten by Simon Taylor the younger on the body of Diana, his wife; in default of such heirs then to the use of the heirs of Simon Taylor the younger Covenant: - by (i) to levy a fine sur conizance de droit come ceo etc. to Thomas Head and Ambrose Reddall Witnesses: - Katherine Gregory; - Johnson Reddall; Examination of copy by John Rotherham, clerk to Ambrose Reddall and Thomas Furnivall
