- TitleProbate of will of Richard Ambrose Reddall of Woburn, gentleman of 6 Jul 1841 (proved 31 May 1842): - to his wife Ann all his personal estate; - to his wife all his real estate in Woburn, Aspley Guise, Husborne Crawley and Linslade for her life with power to lease them for up to ten years free from impeachment of waste except waste by digging clay to make bricks in close containing wharf in Linslade; after her death the land to devise as follows: - to his cousins Henry Land of Exmouth [Devon], surgeon and his sister Charlotte Land of Exmouth, spinster as tenants in common the mansion, malthouse, outbuildings, yard, gardens and two closes of pasture adjoining in Woburn in his own occupation with Pew 29 in S aisle of Woburn church and Pew 10 under south gallery in which his servants sat; - to Henry and Charlotte Land four cottages in Park Street, Woburn adjoining lower of his closes and in occupation of John Clarke, Joseph Barnwell, Elizabeth Sibley and John Woodland; - to Henry and Charlotte Land Royal Oak, Woburn (part freehold and part copyhold) in occupation of Thomas Judge with two cottages adjoining in occupation of John Newell and John Bird (copyhold) with Pew 11 under S gallery in Woburn church; - to his cousin John Land, officer Royal Marines (brother of Henry), Bell, Woburn, with brewhouse, outbuildings and garden in occupation of Francis Snook; - to John Land Sun, Woburn (copyhold) with brewhouse in occupation of Thomas Rosson with pew 12 under S gallery of Woburn church; - to Robert Reddall Williamson, son of Janet Elizabeth Rosalie Williamson of Cheltenham [Gloucestershire], widow Bell, Aspley Guise with brewhouse, outbuildings and garden in occupation of Mary Addison; with two closes of pasture in Aspley Guise, one adjoining Bell garden and the other near the clay pit also in occupation of Mary Addison; - to Robert Reddall Williamson Swan, Husborne Crawley with brewhouse, outbuildings and garden in occupation of Sarah Barnwell; - if Robert Reddall Williamson died under 21 without heirs the above to go to Henry and Charlotte Land as tenants in common; - to Henry Clark of Leighton Buzzard , clerk to testator's tenant John Osborn of Linslade, merchant, half messuage, outbuildings, wharf, dock, close of pasture called Wharf Close in Linslade, in occupation of John Osborn; - to Richard Clark of Woburn, grocer, brother of Henry Clark, one quarter of the Linslade property; - to Robert Reddall Williamson the other quarter of the Linslade property, which should be divided into two and shared between Henry and Richard Clark if Robert Reddall Williamson died under 21 and without heirs; - if his wife died during the minority of Robert Reddall Williamson, John Green of Woburn, solicitor, to receive rents etc. of his estates for his maintenance; - his wife to be sole executrix; Witnesses: William Harland and William Sinfield, clerks to John Green of Woburn
