Returns of Convictions of cases tried summarily with consent of the accused. Cases usually comprise three documents: charge sheet, examination and return. The charge sheet includes information as follows: name of defendant; date and place of hearing; name(s) of presiding magistrate(s); statement of defendant. Examination includes information as follows: name, parish and occupation of witness; date and place of hearing; name and parish of defendant; offence; statement of witness. The return includes information as follows: date and place of hearing; name, parish and occupation of defendant; offence; judgement; sentence.
