Copy letter from Frederic Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds to Mr. R.H. Rushforth: - A simple withdrawal of the appeal will not meet the case. - I have consulted counsel and am told that the alteration of the rates must first be made by the Justices in Sessions and thereupon the assessment committee must alter the valuation lists in conformity with the decision of the justices. - The appellant will therefore proceed with the appeal.
