Copy letter from Frederic Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds to Mr. R. H. Rushforth... 'I am instructed to say that having regard to the dilatoriness of your committee in the matter and the length of time allowed to elapse before giving their decision my client thinks that it will be better that the matter should go before the Quarter Sessions and be settled once and for all. The first notice of objection was given in May 1907 and the objection heard shortly afterwards but your committee did not declare their decision until October 1909 - In the meantime my client has pressed your committee through you to settle the matter but for months he could not even get replies to his letter'.
