Printed plan of the Duke of Bedford's estates in Chenies, Chalfont St. Giles & Chalfont St. Peters, Buckinghamshire and also in the parishes of Flaunden, Sarratt & Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The plan contains handwritten notes around the River Chess and includes the name of occupiers of adjoining land: Lord Cresham, John Henry Boughton, Adeline Duchess of Bedford, Hy. Hobbs, Thomas Clutterbuck esquire (owner), Jacob Darvill and James Woods. - Surveyed in 1876 by Leane & Bakewell of 23 Queen Anne's Gate, Westminster although it is likely that the annotations were made much later c.1907-1910. - Size: 35" x 35" - Scale:13.3" - mile.
