Including: - Extract of recitals contained in an indenture dated 1st Dec 1849 between (1) John Cannon and others (2) Certain Trustees. - Recital of lease and release dated 21st & 22nd May 1779 between (1) Samuel Davies (2) certain trustees whereby 28p were conveyed to (2) upon various trusts concerning the burial of Chenie Baptists. - Recital of Feoffment dated 5th Nov 1801 between (1) Mary Body (2) certain trustees whereby a further piece of land adjoining the burial ground was conveyed to (ii). - Indenture dated 26th Dec 1884 whereby the following were appointed trustees: William Body, Henry Beeson, Henry Grover, James Clark, Herbert Austin, Joseph Bates, Joseph Beckley, Stephen Beeson, William Brown the elder, Henry Samuel Clark, Jesse Kentish, Henry Kingham, John Pope, Charles Puddifoot, Jesse Wallington, Alfred Slater West, Edward Morgan Whitaker and Philip Jones Whitaker. - Indenture dated 10th Sep 1909 whereby the following were appointed trustees: Herbert Austin of 'Beulah', Chorley Wood, Hertfordshire, paper manufacturer; William Brown the elder of Chenies, Buckinghamshire, carrier; Henry Samuel Clark of Berkeley Cottage, Chorley Wood; Philip Jones Whitaker of the Laurels, Cambridge Park, Wanstead, Essex, gentleman; Jesse Wright Darvell of 'Crindan', Chorley Wood, builder; William Brown the younger of Chenies, carrier; James Clark of Mill End, Rickmansworth, Herts, butcher; Arthur King Smith of 'Rutherglen', Clarendon Road, Watford, Herts, gentleman; William Lepard Smith of 'Ravells', Roslin Road, Watford; Percy Davies Michael of 10 Monmouth Road, Watford, gentleman; Edward Stanley Whitaker of 65 Bulwer Road, Leytonstone, Essex, gentleman; George Forfeitt of Manor House, High Street, Watford, gentleman and James William Body of 13 Solesbridge lane, Chorley Wood, carpenter and joiner.
