Copy letter from Thomas Best, clerk of Fenny Stratford Urban District Council… 'At a Joint Committee meeting held today, present Messrs Joseph Hammond, Robert Hammond, Charles Holdom, Albert Bramley and Peter Broome Giles the following resolution was agreed to. That in the matter of the proposed road alteration between the cemetery gates and the bridge over the brook on the Water Eaton Road, that if, 1. The County Council will execute the work 2. The Urban District Council will erect the fence. The Hammond's Trustees, in addition to surrendering certain encroachments, will give land not exceeding eight hundred square yards at or about the locality specified in the plan made by the surveyor, Mr. John Chadwick'.
