Letter from Thomas Best, clerk of Fenny Stratford Urban District Council to Frederic Tanqueray of Woburn, solicitor… 'With reference to you letter of the 13th instant we will remove the tank, refix it in little field nearest Fenny Stratford and supply it with town water until the sewer connections are completed as suggested by Mr. Joseph Hammond in his letter of the 8th ultimo. Since the date of my last letter the whole of the L. & N.W. Rly Co's sewage has been transferred to the new sewers and very little sewage indeed is now passing into the brook'.
