Fisher, Bolam & Co, the agents, this morning. The half years rent due on the 29th inst. to be allowed to your client by Lord Hood is £149/16/9, less half year's allowance, £12/17/6 = £136/19/3. They have slightly altered the proportion of Income Tax they make it £7/8/6… We hope to get this conveyance back from Lord Hood tomorrow & in that case there is a chance that the increment value stamp can be impressed so that the conveyance can be ready to complete on Thursday afternoon. Of course, it is running things rather close & you might therefore, like to postpone completion to say Monday. In that case, please send us a wire in the morning'.
