(ii) Amos Grove of Tebworth, Beds, carpenter. Reciting: - Will of William Cook dated 23rd Sep 1899 whereby (i) were appointed executors and 3 old cottages situate near the public pump in Tebworth (one occupied by William Chapman and the other two unoccupied) were bequeathed to his nephew (ii). - W. Cook died on the 25th Apr 1902 and his will was proved at the District Registry of Northampton on the 31st May 1902. Operative: - In accordance with the wishes stated in the recited will, (i) conveys (a) to (ii). Property: (a) Three cottages or tenements with premises near the pump at Tebworth formerly in the occupation of Mary Flection and others and since occupied by William Chapman. Habendum: - Unto and to the use of (ii). (II) Conveyance dated 7th Feb 1910… 'As to the remainder of the premises'. Parties: (i) Charlotte Sibthorpe Morris, Anne Morris, Julia Maria Morris & Rebecca Morris all of Shenley, Buckinghamshire, spinsters. (ii) Frederic Thomas Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds, solicitor, Robert Hobourn of Woburn, gentleman, Sarah Ann Mann of Hockliffe, Beds, widow and Groom Cooper Bunker of Hockliffe, farmer. (iii) Lucy Ellen Adams of Hockliffe, Beds, spinster. (iv) Said S.A. Mann. (v) A. Grove & Frederick Grove both of Tebworth, Chalgrave, Beds, timber dealers. Reciting: - Will of John Warner Adams dated 8th Jan 1903 whereby all his real estate was devised to his son John James Reynal Adams subject to a payment of £-/14/- a week to his daughter (iii) and £-/5/- to his housekeeper (ii). J.J.R. Adams was also appointed executor. - J.W. Adams died on the 13th Mar 1903 and his will was proved in the Northampton District Probate Registry on the 9th Jul 1903. - Mortgage dated 29th Jun 1905 between (1) J.J.R. Adams (2) (iii) (3) (iv) (4) (i) whereby (a) was conveyed to (4) as security for the repayment of £4800 with interest. - Will of J.J.R. Adams dated 16th Apr 1909 and codicil whereby (ii) were appointed executors. - J.J.R. Adams died on the 30th Jun 1909 and his will was proved in the Northampton District Probate Registry on the 7th Aug 1909. - £4800 is still owing on the recited mortgage but all interest has been paid. Operative: - In consideration of £74 (ii) with the consent of (i), (iii) & (iv) convey (a) to (v). Property: (a) 4 Messuages or cottages with premises situate in the centre of Tebworth, Chalgrave, Beds. Habendum: - Unto and to the use of (v) discharged from the recited mortgage and the two annuities (ii) & (iii) were previously entitled to. (III) Mortgage dated 8th Feb 1910… 'As to all the said premises'. Parties: (i) A. Grove & F. Grove. (ii) S.A. Mann. Operative: - Mortgage from (i) to (ii) for £70 with interest. (i) conveys all the said hereditaments to (ii) as security for repayment. Habendum: - Unto and to the use of (ii) subject to the usual mortgage provisos for redemption. (IV) Further charge dated 8th Aug 1910. Further charge of £40 on above mortgage subject to the same provisos for redemption. (V) Further charge dated 8th Aug 1910.
