  • Title
Letter from Boulton Sons & Sandeman of 21a Northampton Square, London, E.C. to Frederic Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds, solicitor… 'We are in receipt of your letter of the 9th instant enclosing engrossment of mortgage, and abstract of restrictive covenants for which we are obliged. We propose to go by the train leaving St. Pancras at 2.12 pm and arriving at Luton at 3.12. Our clients, the Cannon Brewery Company Limited, have arranged to make an advance upon this house, on second mortgage, and in the case of changes in London it is customary for London brewers' cheques to be accepted as part of the purchase money to the extent of the advances made by them. If your client would prefer not to fall in with this practice, but to receive the balance payable to him in cash would you kindly wire us immediately upon receipt of this letter?'.
