Undated letter from C.G. Johnson of 2 Ravensword, Green Church, Jersey [recipient unknown]… 'The rent owing by Ms Godfrey for Woodcroft is the June quarter and also when she leaves the September quarter. The June quarter will be paid to me for the Trapps and the September quarter to the purchaser this was the agreement with Mr. Eve. Mrs Godfrey paid always a quarter in advance but when the house was sold she called on me and said the quarter ending March was paid in advance which I allowed for so the Trapps have received no rent since Xmas 1910. I think it would be well to remind Mr. Eve of this though I mentioned the matter to him on his signing the agreement with deposit and provision of paying principal [?]. I expect to be home by the end of this month believe me'.
