Draft notice from F.T. Tanqueray of Woburn, solicitor to Charles Clare of Bedford, retired builder… 'As solicitor for and on behalf of the Executors of the will of Barnard Charnock Sturges late of Salford in the County of Bedford, farmer deceased. I do Hereby require you to pay to them at the expiration of three calendar months from the service of this notice the principal sum of £350 and interest due thereon secured by a certain indenture dated the 1st May 1909 and made between yourself and Barnard Charnock Sturges. And I hereby give you notice that if you make default in such payment I shall immediately thereafter proceed to sell the hereditaments and premises comprised in the said indenture'.
