- Scope and Content"I had been waiting to hear from you regarding the items you presumably paid for on behalf of my Sister. I think you said the cost of the Nightie was 32/6 so I have pleasure to enclose cheque in settlement of this item. You must let me know please if there are any other small items for which you paid, and I will then settle with you. It is somewhat of a relief to know all the worry is now over, and I must once again thank you so much for all your kindness to me Sister during her illness. Mr.Cooke is now dealing with all the affairs, he has been very good and his help too is much appreciated. I am glad to report that I am on the mend, and can walk more easily which is a great relief, and from now onwards I should improve greatly. Please convey to your Mother and Sister best wishes from myself and Wife".
