Printed e-mail from Charlotte Nichols Vardy to Barry Dackombe relating the problem of Francis Nicolls of Stratford [Connecticut] being alleged to be brother of Ampthill's Richard Nicolls; she has also seen it written that he was grandfather of a Nova Scotia loyalist; she had never believed the connection; - Barbara Nichols had commissioned Neil Thompson to research the Connecticut Nicolls and he discovered that his parents were John and Joan, his grandparents Thomas and Elinor, the name of his first wife and that he had eleven children; the family originated in Sedgeberrow [Worcestershire]
