Letter from Herbert "Gregor" Harris at Waddington [Lincolnshire] to Andrew Underwood: - a photograph in Ampthill & Flitwick Times had brought back memories of an old friend from Arthur Street, Ampthill - Frank Cox; - his father Charles was a shoemaker and postman and a Methodist; - Charles' children were Frank, Winnie, Ralph and Phyllis; Frank died "last year" [i.e. c.1988] aged 86 and had been an electrical engineer with a business in Bedford; he was an athlete who excelled in running the mile and half mile, teaching the writer how to run in Ampthill Park; - he thinks Mrs.Meadows of Grange Road, Ampthill a relative of the family
