Bower highlighting that Mr. Green may be interested in buying additional land at some or all of Mr. Bower's estates, including the balance of Springfield house and gardens, the pits, the cricket field and the allotments. Includes additional information on the options available to Mr. Bower and the advantages v. disadvantages of each decision in turn. - Reply to above from Dr. C. Bower… 'perhaps you will tell Mr. Green that I am not selling any more land or property'. - Proposals for Mr. Green to buy or rent certain land for the provision of an access road to the new estate leaving Spring Road. - Copy letters from Dr. C. Bower to P.J.W. Perks concerning the demolition work of the house and the clearing of the land for putting Green's roads in… 'it was a good thing that one of my men working in the garden was able to stop them bull-dozing up some shrubs, etc.. on my side of demarcation. Their methods are very much of the hit and miss type but I will do my best to keep an eye on them although it is not easy'.
