Perks, surveyor… 'I now enclose herewith a cheque for the sum of £310/18/6 being the balance of the furniture sale, having deducted my firm's fees in this matter. I regret that I have not dealt with this earlier. The sale realisation total is that which was realised in the sale room less bought in items but it includes the whole of the items which were stolen at the sale'.
