Including: - Proposals for a purchase price of £500 per acre. - Copy letter from Dr. Bower to P.J.W. Perks, surveyor asking him to put the sale on hold until the result of the K.U.D.C. elections has taken place… 'If Bennion does not get in, I think the simplest way will be to annul the recent transfer of land from me to him. If he does get in, we will have to think again, and it might be possible to offer him a plot of land facing the Elstow/Kempston road if he wanted it (See X611/104/1) for letter from W.F. Bennion). - Negotiations over clauses within the contract stemming from Mr. Smith's problems with the planning authorities. - Proposals for a sale price of £2000. - Invoice from Tebbs & Son, solicitors for completing the sale to Mr. Smith (£94/10- from the purchase price of £2000). - Negotiations concluding in the sale of another 20 feet of land to E.E. Smith which lies at the end of the plots he has recently purchased.
