    Including: - Letter from W.& H. Peacock, auctioneers of Bedford to Dr. C. Bower confirming that their client Mr. C.C. Garner wishes to arrange a release from his tenancy. - Copy letter in reply to above… 'It will seem strange not to have a Garner on the premises as the present tenant is the third generation'. - P.J.W Perks, surveyor highlights that Dr. Bower should perhaps consider selling since re-letting might mean that it becomes difficult to get rid of a tenant unless the land is zoned for a purpose other than agriculture in which case possession can be obtained, also, if the land is not zoned on the councils current plan it is probable that it will be at least a further 5 years before Dr. Bower can realise the full industrial or housing value. - Mr. Garner decides to continue to farm on the land subject to a revised tenancy agreement. - Letter from P.J.W. Perks, surveyor confirming that he has agreed the reduction in rent with Mr. Garner's agent in respect of land recently sold to Mid-Beds Development Company. - Invoice from J.R. Eve & Son, auctioneers and land agents to Dr. C. Bower for work involved in the proposed sale of Spring Road frontage land to Mid-Beds Development Company - Letter from P.J.W. Perks, surveyor concerning a formal notice to quit in respect of Mr. Garner's land… 'I also understand that Mr. Garner will be writing personally to you with an explanation of why he did not notify you in the first place of his intention to vacate the premises'.
