Letter from Charles H.Matthews to Sir Albert Richardson: "Thank you very much for your letter, and for kindly explaining to me again the meaning of the term "Posh". I shall not forgot [sic] this, now that I have it in writing. It is extremely kind of you to even consider doing me a sketch of Avenue House and I shall think I am very fortunate indeed if you can find the time to do so. Our interest in Clocks acquired after our first visit to your wonderful House is increasing, and we have now acquired our sixth. We call it William. Thank you once again for your kindnesses to us, and for making our visits to Avenue House such enjoyable ones".
