Title
Correspondence concerning an electrical installation at Flitton Church carried out by Ward & Hubbard of 13a West Street, Dunstable, electrical engineers. Including:
- Invoices and bill heads from Ward & Hubbard.
- Letter from Felix J. Lander of 38 Gloucester Place, Portman Square to Rev. R.G. Leonard-Williams of Pulloxhill Vicarage… 'It does not seem, in view of the black out, that it will be any good my going over to see the effect of the lighting, and in any case I suppose you will not be having any services in the church after dark, so it is rather a pity we did the lighting at all. However, it is done, and I think that Ward & Hubbard are entitled to some payment, though I think before giving them the full amount of their account, I ought to come over and make sure that they have left everything in order'.
- Letter from Ward & Hubbard to Mr. F. Northwood, treasurer of Flitton Parochial Church Council acknowledging receipt of payment.
