    [f. 244] Jamys Gregory of Pegisden in parish of Shitlington, yeoman, made 19 Feb. 1546/7, pr. 12 Apr. 1547. Burial in the churchyard of All Hallowes in Shitlington. To the high altar there 12d.. To son John Gregory the younger 20s. which the parson of Heghtoun owes testator. To John's two children 20 puxes and a cow each. To John Gregory the elder an acre of barley and testator's best coat, and a pair of hose. To [.]hane Howson a cow. To William Gregory 2 puxes. The residue of his sheep are to go to Thomas Howson together with half an acre of wheat to cover the cost of his burial "And to kepe my month day and yere day, as he shall thingk beste by his discretion". To his curate an ewe and a lamb. To Antony Childe a ewe. All other household implements to son John the younger. "Item my beryall my month day and the yere day at the disposition of Thomas Howson whome I order and make my executor". Witnesses sir Fransys Mylner clerk, John Newman.
