    [f. 234] William Walles of Litell Stowghton made 13 Jan 1546/7 pr. 2 May 1547. Burial in the churchyard of Litell Stowghton. To mother church of Lincoln 4d.. To son John 2 bullocks, 3 quarter of barley, 6 sheep and a quarter of pease. To son William 2 bullocks, 3 quarter of barley, 6 sheep and a quarter of pease. To daughter Elzabeth 2 kine that give milk, 3 quarter of barley, 6 sheep and a quarter of pease. To daughter Alys 2 kine that give milk, 6 sheep, 3 quarter of barley and a quarter of pease… Should his two daughters live until they are married, then testator's executors "shall geve them all thinges necessary to an honeste bed", 2 brass pots, 2 pans, 12 pieces of pewter, 4 candlesticks, 2 coffers, 2 ambrys, to be divided between them, and should one die under age, the survivor to take the whole bequest. To his servant on the day of her marriage a bushel of barley, a bushel of wheat, and one sheep to be delivered after testator's death. Son Thomas and wife Alys to be his executors, they to have all other goods. Should wife remarry, son to give her 2 kine and a bullock, 3 quarter of barley, part of the poultry and chamber, and 6 sheep, Supervisors son Robert and John Rolte., and John Rolte to have 6 sheep and 3s. 4d. for his labour, Witnesses Master Smyth the parson, William Deyme.
