    Folio 165d - Jone Pegyn widow of town and parish of Lylly in county of Hartford, made 17 Dec. 1543, pr. 17 Apr. 1546. Burial in the church yard of Lylly, and to the high altar 12d., to the Rood light in the same church 4d.; to the torches light 4d.; and to sir John Nyx 12d. to say three masses for testator and her friends. To her three daughters Alys, Jone and Margret a sheet and a pewter platter each. To daughter Margret a brass pan. To daughter Alys her round gown and a red coat and a kirtle. To Jane Marten, testator's daughter-in-law, the best gown and best girdle. To son Edward Marten her best linen sheets and a pewter platter and a silver spoon. To daughter Jone her best kirtle and her second girdle. To son William Marten her cow, her cupboard and her bed and 2 silver spoons and her brass pot. To sir Richard Wheteley 4d. to say a mass of the Holy Trinity for testator and her friends. Residue to son William Marten , executor. Witnesses sir John Nyxe, William Marten , Elzabeth Decon.
