    Folio 155d - Nicholas Harding made 6 Jan. 1545/6, pr. 21 Mar. 1545/6. Burial in the church yard of Stretley. To wife Jone and son Thomas testator's copyhold property where he lives, which they are to occupy together as long as his wife remains a widow. If she remarries, then son Thomas is to occupy the whole, and to give testator's wife half of testator's goods and chattles, which she can dispose of as she wishes. To son Robert a cow which testator bought recently, also 20 of his best sheep and 10 quarters of barley, half this year and half next year. To daughter Agnes a bullock and 6 quarters of barley, half this year and half next year, and 6 sheep. To daughter Elen a bullock and 6 quarters of barley,half this year and half next year, and 6 sheep; and to Jane her daughter one ewe and a lamb. To the upkeep of the church 6s. 8d. Executors wife Jone and son Thomas, with Master Wyngat supervisor, he to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses Master Wyngat and sir John Carter curate.
