    Folio 115d - Maryan Hawkyns/Hawkinges of Kings Howhghton, widow, made 2 Dec. pr. 13 Dec. 1545. Burial in church yard of All Saints in Howghton; to the high altar for tithes forgotten a bushel of malt; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the Rood light a bushel of malt; to the torches 2 bushel of malt. Two trentals are to be done, one shortly after her death and the other as soon as executors can manage. To every godchild 4d..To sir John Cowper a sheet. Ten loads of stones are to be laid between Robert Whythedes gate and the church, where most need is. To William Hawkinges the son of Richard Hawkinges a ewe and a lamb, and a brass pot. To John Hawkynges son of the said Richard a flecked ox bullock and a pewter platter. To Agnes Hawkinges daughter of the said Richard a table cloth and a towel (the next to the best) and a little coffer. To Margret Hawkinges the daughter of Robert Hawkinges a brass pot (the best save one), , a platter and a candlestick, testator's best table cloth, best towel, best curtain, best sheet, a chafing dish and a little gown lined with "burreham". To testator's sister Alys a sheet. To Margret Hawkinges the daughter of Richard Hawkinges aforesaid a new kettle. To Thomas and Richard the sons of the aforesaid Richard Hawkinges a bushel of barley each. To Thomas Hawkinges the son of Robert Hawkinges a cow which "was in the hyer of Myles", and Richard, son of Robert, to have her calf. To Katering daughter of Robert Hawkinges a red bullock. To testator's sons Richard and Robert a cow which is in the hire of Whyteacar, to be divided between them, and the calf to go to Agnes, daughter of son Richard. To Alys Whytaker a harden sheet and a sleeveless gown. To Jone Wolston a sheet. To Margret Gubyon her cloak ("clocke") and her best sleeveless petticoat. To Jone Hayward her best kirtell save one. To Neeme Meele the third petticoat. To son Robert a long coffer that stands in her own chamber and a pan. To Alys Whythed a curtain and a blanket, a red cloth that lies on testator's bed, the sheet that hangs about her bed, her best kirtle, her best cap and best petticoat. Of the pease that testator "dydd sowe to hawses" William and Robert the sons of Richard Hawkinges to have two bushel each, and the residue to Robert Whythed. Of the corn that testator "dydd sowe to haffes" a peck to Jone Gray the daughter of Michael Gray; a peck to John Crocker; a peck to William Gubyon; and residue to Robert Whytehed. Residue to be at the disposition of sons Richard and Robert Hawkinges, who are to be executors. Witnesses sir John Cowper priest, John [?]Etne the elder, Thomas Barbar.
