Folio 112d - William Hems of Bromham, made 28 Oct. pr. 15 Dec. 1545. Burial in the church yard of Bromham; to high altar for tithes forgotten 12d.; to mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to Sepulchre light 12d.; to the bells 4d.. To eldest son Thomas an acre of rye. To second son Henry half an acre of barley. To daughter Jone a great brass pot. To Edward his man an acre of barley. To Robert his man half an acre of barley. To "everecheone" of his children a cow with the increase when the child comes to lawful age. Residue to wife and she to be executrix "that she shall with good will breng uppe hir childern' and myne the better". Witnesses Henry Franckelyn Master vicar, Richard Bawll.
