    Folio 98d - Henry Grome of Tyllysworth, husbandman, made 10 Sept. pr. 14 Oct. 1545. Burial in the church yard of Allhallowes in Tyllysworth. To the church of Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar in Tyllysworth for tithes forgotten 2d.; to the torches and bells there 2d. each. To Thomas Grome "a pott that is most occupyed, a pan that is Rede brasse" two pair of sheets and a coverlet. To William Grome a quarter of barley. To Robert Grome a bullock. To John Grome the younger a quarter of barley. To Richard Grome a quarter of barley; to Jone Grome a quarter of barley; to Melycent Grome a quarter of barley; to Agnes Grome a quarter of barley; to [?]Age Grome a quarter of barley; to Margery Grome a heifer, 2 platters, a bright pan that "standeth nexte to Almery and a candelstecke". To wife Agnes a land of wheat and 5 acres of barley which she is to have within 3 years, having part in each of the three years. To his wife also a cow and a calf, and 3 sheep and all testator's "instuff" which is to remain for the maintenance of the house, as long as she abides there, and when she takes away the stuff "she shalbe charged with ij of the yongeste childern withall". His executors are to pay the barley to his children within the next seven years, and the share of any child that dies before then to go to Thomas Grome. Residue to Thomas Grome who is sole executor to use for souls, with testator's brother Stephen Grome supervisor. Witnesses sir Robert Low priest, Thomas Hebbes, Thomas Grome.
