Burial in the sanctuary of St. Peter of Temysford; to the high altar there for tithes forgotten 12d.; to the two side altars 4d.; to the bells 4d.. To wife Jone for her lifetime half the house room where testator dwells, with all the lands, closes, meadows that testator has in the precincts of Temysford, or elsewhere in England, and after Jone's death all this to descend to testator's eldest daughter Agnes and to William Farnley her eldest son, testator's god child, and to their heirs and assigns for ever, along with the whole of the house where testator lives, where during the life of testator's wife, they are to have the other half with her. To wife Jone half of all goods , i.e. his crop and horses, kine and cattle, and all implements both within his house and outside his house, and the other half to go to his eldest daughter Agnes. However, before this division is made, one of testator's best kine is to be given to his younger daughter Margret, as chosen by her mother Jone. To Margret Sprege his goddaughter 4d.. Testator owes sir William Chauntrie priest for rent due at Michaelmas 10s.. Executors Thomas Stapillhoo and testator's wife Joane. Witnesses William Manley the parson, John Cowper, Robert Clayre.
