Folio 89 - John Smyth ofToddington made 23 June pr. 20 Aug. 1545. Burial in church yard. To the Blessed Sacrament of the altar 2d.; to the church of Lincoln 2d.. To son Thomas 10s. to be given him by testator's assigns of which he is to get 3s. 4d. on testator's death, and the rest in two payments in the course of the year. Thomas is to have also all testator's woollen gear with one shirt. 6 dozen of bread is to be given to poor people. To every godchild 1d.. To the maintenance of the bells and the torches 8d.. Residue to wife Jone and she and Robert Marcon to be executors, and to use some for the health of testator's soul. John Horseley, tailor, to be supervisor.
