Folio 83 - John Lucy of Gravenhurst Parva made 1545, pr. 27 July 1545. "I bequeth my Soull unto Almeightie God my Redemer and Savyor". Burial in church yard of Gravenhurst aforesaid. Wife to be sole executrix, to pay all debts and leacies. To son William 2 steers. To son Richard 2 weaning calves. To son Henry a calf. To son Thomas a calf. To daughter Joyes a heifer. If property does not cover his debts, then the legacies to his children are to be void, and they are to remain "at the benyvolens of there mother". Residue to wife Alys. Witnesses Richard Joye priest, Lawrens Snowe.
