    Folio 58d - Robert Cowper of Cayshoo, husbandman, made 16 Dec. 1544, pr. 3 Mar. 1544/5. Burial in the church yard of Cayshoo; to mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar of Cayshoo 8d.; to the bells 20d.. To son John a pair of tire wheels and cart body and all things necessary to make a cart, also a horse of sorrel colour and all testator's horse harness both plough gear and cart gear. To children Thomas and Agnes 2 steers; to son Thomas a spit; to daughter Agnes 2 cobirons; to son Thomas a gray horse and a two gallon pot; to daughter Agnes the biggest brass pot and a white brass pan. To son Robert the biggest brass pan. To daughter Margery a bullock and 3 quarters of barley. To Jone Jenken a quarter of barley and to every one of her children a bushel of barley. To Jone Jenken also a brass pot. To son Robert a latten chafing dish. To Thomas Jekyn his best coat. To William Cramfeld "my in lawe" his worsted doublet and a quarter of barley. To son Robert a coffer, a pot and a folding table, a gray colt and the best cart. To children Robert, Thomas and Agnes 2 sheep and a lamb. To daughter Agnes 2 quarters of barley. To daughter Margery a four gallon pan. To servant Roger half a quarter of barley. If ?son John make any suit or trouble then all things to be void given to him in this will. If children Robert, Thomas and Agnes die without issue then the survivors are to be their heirs. Wife Jone is have half the tilth of land sown with pease and barley, and the said "Joahnne to sowe at hir own cost", and wife to pay half of all rents, and the other half to be paid at the cost and charges of son John Cowper. Residue to wife, to use for souls of testator and all Christians. Executors to be wife Jone and John Ric' senior, and supervisor Richard Bulmer. Witnesses sir Thomas Nyx, Henry Reyner, Thomas Richards, John Cowper, Thomas Jeken and William Cramfild.
