To mother church of Lincoln 3d.. To the high altar of Leghton a bushel of wheat for tithes forgotten. To Leghton church 6s. 8d.. To Billington chapel a quarter of malt this year and another quarter the next year, and to the same chapel a torch. To his son William Marten his house and land in Gret Billington, after the death of testator and of Alys his wife. His wife to have the whole for the term of her life, then it is to go to William and his heirs. To son William Marten 2 of the best steers, and William is to pay to his brother John Marten 5 marks of money "or wayre". To son John Marten a house and close and 6 and a half acres of land, and a [?]"botte" belonging to the same house, to hold to him and his heirs; also two of the second steers. To daughter Agnes 40s., a cow, a great pan with a band, a pair of sheets, 2 platters. To daughter Alys 40s., a cow, a pot and a kettle and a pair of sheets and 2 platters. To daughter Julyan 20s., a bullock, a pot with a kettle, a pair of sheets and 2 platters. He leaves half a bushel of malt each to Henry Taler, Anne Hebbes and James Harrys. To every godchild 2d.. The residue to his executors, his wife Alys and son William Marten; Nicholas Robertes to be overseer. Witnesses sir George Kydd, Richard Hogg, John Hogg, Thomas Hartewell.
