    Folio 19d - William Brewett made 8 Apr. 1544 pr. 16 June 1544. Burial in the church yard of Wodill. Wife Alys Brewett to be executrix. To each of his three daughters 3 pair of sheets that is to each one 3 harden sheets and 3 linen sheets. To eldest son Richard Brewett a great brass pot which cost 8s., also the tyre of a cart, and certain nails. To dau. Margery the next best pot. To daughters Agnes and Alys one posnet each. To Agnes a great pan. To Alys a kettle, 4 new platters, a chafing dish (the best of twain). To son George a white bullock, and a pightle in the town of Archester, and a violet coat to make him and his brother Henry a coat. To son Henry a brass pot, 2 silver spoons, a coverlet and a house with a yard lying in the town of Wallingborow, he to give to his brother George 4 marks of lawful money, at the rate of 3s. 4d. a year. To the church of Wodill a towel "and a cheyll' to serve at the Maye". To church for tithes forgotten 8d.. To mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To his six children 9 quarters of barley and 3 quarters of beans or pease, that is to say 3 quarters of barley and 1 quarter of beans or pease to be paid between this and Cristemmas and the other 6 quarters of barley between that time and Cristemas come a twelvemonth. A trental and a half of masses to be done for souls of testator and of his mother-in-law, half to be done at Wodhill and half at Archester, the money to be taken of testator's rent at Michaelmas next at Wallingborowe and Archester, and testator's ghostly father sir Richard to sing the same if he will, and none other.
